Happy New Year!!

Our "Christmas Letter/Poem" for this year...sorry we're late!

Another year has come and gone
I swear, I thought we'd just begun
Oh, wait, we have…we're late this year
But we'll try to catch you up - don't fear

In March, we had an exciting stay
As across the pond we went to the UK
We stayed with friends for about a week
The Tower of London and Oxford were really neat!

Kyra stayed home with Nana and G'mpa
Oh yeah…she's getting REALLY tall!
She still loves to dance and sing
And read just about anything.
She's learning more words every day
And "gobbling" Mommy is her thing to play.

Erik is still with Wachovia bank
And to rhyme with that…I'm drawing a blank.
He passed his big securities tests …… (the first time!!)
So now, your money, he can invest.
But the big news with him, this past July…
He had major surgery…and not on his eye.
They took out the bad parts from within his back
He's not 100%, but he's gettin' on track!
He'll be golfing this summer and that's for sure
So, you'd better watch out, Tiger!

Karen is still working away
Keeping pretty busy most days
But graphic design and the church web site
Are really more her delight
And this year she's even started a blog
Though the updates are slower than [London] fog

So with that full circle, we'll say farewell
But not before a short story to tell.

Remember, as you start this New Year
That the Father above longs to draw you near
He gave us his Son to make us his own
So please don't forget Jesus…He sits on the throne.

Our hearts are full; our blessings are clear
