Back in April I emailed his boss and HR rep to schedule a day off for his birthday. They all managed to keep the secret and on the Wednesday morning of his birthday, he got up to get ready for work as usual. Then I told him to put on shorts, shirt and sneakers. We drove up to Williamsburg to meet my parents for breakfast, with Kyra. They took Kyra for the day and night and we headed to Busch Gardens for the day. But first, we stopped off at the nearby Starbucks to pick up Nate and Heather...another surprise for the day.
We had a blast being adult kids in the big play ground! Thanks to Derek for the tickets and extra "help!"

Turns out, Erik's still got "it" and Nate is still just shooting off at the mouth. Heather and I were crying we were laughing so hard!
To finish the day, we had reservations at one of our favourite places, Schlesinger's Chop House.
