Kyra's last day at Ms. Katie's was June 20 (before we left for our beach week). Erik and I can never express fully just how much we love and appreciate all the love and nurture that Katie has given to Kyra (and all the little munchkins) for the past 2+ years!! As many of you mommies know...or will know, it's very nerve-racking to think about leaving your child with a stranger and trusting in that person to love them like you would. Well, we found that Katie and da Crew quickly became friends and loved Kyra as her own. We're not as sad as we might have been, just because we can still see them at church. But, Katie, we all miss you and thank you for raising Kyra with us!!!

You watched me crawl and helped me eat.
These are my hands and feet.
This is my hair you used to comb.
And now, I can do it all on my own.
You've watched me grow and loved me so.

And helped me get over trees.
Hugs and kisses are my favorite treats.

Now look forward to great big hugs.

You guys are so flipping cute. I wish we had someone like her up here in expensive-ville. (growl) hug Kyra for us! Any updates on the Journey concert???
OMGosh Karen I just saw this... I love you guys sooo much!!! Thank you for letting us be such a big part of Kyra-mi-su's first 3 years. So glad we get to still see you each Sunday. I wouldn't survive without my Kyra fix.
