1. We started the weekend off with Kyra's 103.3 fever and missing our friend's dinner party. Thankfully, her sickness literally lasted 24 hrs. Daddy was helping to nurse her back to health here...
2. We awoke Sunday and Kyra was clearly feeling better b/c she started using ALL of her word allowance from Saturday in about 2 minutes! So, we headed to church and then to Nana and "Crampa's" house, where we enjoyed a lovely boat ride and some smoked turkey.
3. Monday, we did some house cleaning/organizing and then had some family fun-time at the Carnival at Hampton Coliseum. Kyra had been seeing/talking about the Ferris Wheel for days (as we passed it every day on the way home). I wish I had a picture of her face when she saw it up close. Her little neck wouldn't stretch far enough to see all the way up! Her favorite ride though...the Bumble Bees!
(Daddy had quite the time getting in Dumbo!)
