Too many surprises!

So, it's been almost 5 years since Erik and I tied the knot...5 wonderful years...can't believe he keeps putting up with me! ;-) Our anniversary is actually this Friday, the 19th. But, our free "babysitters" (AKA: Nana and Grandpa) could only watch Kyra this weekend. So, without Erik knowing it, I booked 'em and was going to surprise him with a nice dinner at Krush (fantastic Martini bar/restaurant in P-town). Little did I know that he too, had made arrangements with Katie to watch Kyra on Sunday afternoon/night. So, once the dust settled on all the confusion, my parents took the little bear for the whole weekend and we got to play! Dinner was awesome Saturday night...then we went to see "The Kingdom" after church (we rated it a solid 9 on the EC-movie-meter)...hit the sports bar for the last quarter of Erik's Vikings game...and then off to Sushi and AMY GRANT!!!! That's right...for the 5th anniversary (the "wood" anniversary), Erik got me tickets (made from trees) to the Amy Grant concert at the Ferguson Center. She was, of course, AWESOME!!!...yep, even Erik enjoyed it (now he has to stop mocking!). Of all the times I've seen her in concert...this was far and away the best! Thanks to my husbie for a great present and an even greater 5 years!
